The National Dalit Christian Watch (NDCW) is deeply pained at the recent violence in Manipur that have caused violence and destroyed several churches and so many lives, making people suffer without food and shelter.
NDCW condemns the inhuman and illogical actions beyond law and order and the lack of respect for fellow human beings.
“We express our solidarity with all of them in their anguish and suffering, which is beyond words at this moment. I spoke to one of the victims, who stated that deaths are unaccounted for by the police, the number of people displaced is more than 10,000, and there are rescue teams from Imphal on the ground,” said Manju Devarapalli CM, national secretary of NDCW.
“We urge that both the state and central governments plunge into action by rescuing and restoring justice to the victims,” she added.
